Pictou County Postcards
Vintage Postcards from Pictou County, Nova Scotia

NOVA SCOTIA STEEL & COAL COMPANY

This company has a rich history that can best be explained by others. A search on the internet will turn up dozens of links. The postcards identify the company as being in New Glasgow, but it is actually located in Trenton. I have therefore grouped all the cards for this company under Trenton.

OFFICE NOVA SCOTIA STEEL AND COAL CO. LTD., TRENTON, N.S.

Although not the prettiest card on the block, this card is rarely seen, and aside from having gone through the postal system nearly 100 years ago, it is in mint condition. Addressed to Mr. Willie Brown, Abercrombie, NS, the sender writes "Dear Wille, How are you getting along hope you are a good boy. So Bye Bye Johnny"

Odd postcard for a young lad, but there you have it.
